Like our other varieties of truffles, we
also offer Bianchetti Truffles in a variety
of preserved forms. Surprisingly affordable,
preserved Bianchetti Truffle products add
distinction without draining your food budget.
When buying preserved truffle products,
always check the label for the Latin name
of the product. Any preserved product containing
authentic Bianchetti Truffles will always
be labeled Tuber Albidum Pico. If you do
not find the Latin name on the label, the
contents will not be Bianchetti Truffles
and you will be disappointed with the imposters
taste and aroma. You can purchase Urbani
products with confidence because you will
always find the Latin names on all of our
labels.
In the early 1900’s our uncle,
Carlo Urbani, was the first person in
the world to experiment in canning and
jarring truffles. When Uncle Carlo perfected
his novel process, it became possible
for truffles to survive transatlantic
shipping and effectively be exported from
Italy to America. Urbani still uses Uncle
Carlo’s basic technique and can
assure the highest quality of preserved
truffle product availability anywhere
in the world today. These products allow
the chef to bring the beauty of the Bianchetti
Truffle to the table regardless of the
season.
